How long have you been dancing?I started taking dance classes at 7 years old and haven’t stopped since. Dance started kicking off for me when I danced for the Chicago Bulls.Where did you grow up?Chicago bred! How does your background impact your dance?Growing up in a city like Chicago helped mold my individuality and taught me how to stay true to myself. From there, I develop my own style and it comes out when I dance. How would you classify your style?I say my style of dance is free. When I’m listening to music and really connecting myself to it, I will dance the way the music makes me feel at that very moment. Freestyle. That’s me in my truest art form.

From there, I’m on another level. What are some challenges in this social media age?Social media is major key for linking with other creatives. But it sucks when you’re really trying to work with someone then you soon realize they were just trying to holler…I know you guys feel me on this one. What projects are you currently working on?I’m currently creating videos that I style and choreograph. Creating dance visuals is how I can share both my passions, fashion and dance. Rather than just filming choreography, my videos have more of a story that leads up to the choreography. I have also been collaborating with music artists as a performance/movement coach and teaching dance to all levels!
