Rabbit

Rabbit (b Jonathan François) is a Haitian-American artist based in Los Angeles, CA. Growing up a first generation American in a Haitian household, there was always a need to preserve family roots while fitting into American culture. His work explores the idea of each of his subject's duality in mostly contrasting identities or ideas. The duality is also expressed usually through the mixed media of fabric, oils, and other materials. Most of his subjects are a representation of his direct community of friends and family.
